Online support via Zoom (located in Sydney Australia)
I am a Autistic ADHD Therapist working with adult clients who may be part of the LGBTQIA+ community, who may have a professional work role, or who might be part of a marginalised community. I work in collaboration with clients to build capacity, to develop bespoke strategies to support wellbeing and the clients own goals. Clients may experience anxiety, communication differences, isolation, masking, burnout, and also might be late-diagnosed.
My work spans over 30+ years of lived experience providing Psychotherapy and Arts Therapy support for neurodivergent adults through a neurodiversity-affirming + queer-affirming lens. Many of my clients may self-identify or have a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome (Downs), Tourette Syndrome (Tourettes). I work with individuals and relationships. Ethical Non-Monogamous (ENM), Relationship Anarchy (RA), and unique relationship styles welcome.
I am a neurodivergent (AuDHD) psychotherapist deeply committed to supporting neurodivergent individuals on their unique journey. Over the years, I have been privileged to learn from the resilience, wisdom, and lived experiences of clients and colleagues, who have profoundly shaped my approach to therapy. My practice integrates a wide range of modalities, including Interactive Drawing Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Mindfulness, and traditional talk therapy, grounded in Rogerian (Person-Centered) principles.
As a person-focused practitioner, I honour each client’s lived experience and collaborate with them to develop tailored pathways that facilitate their growth, healing, and goals. With over 30 years of experience, I remain deeply grateful for the knowledge passed down by those who came before me and the insights generously shared by those I have worked with. My commitment extends to making mental health care accessible and advancing the field through my roles as a researcher, scholar, practitioner, and creative.
At the heart of my work lies a belief in the transformative power of self-expression and shared experience. Through a creative and philosophical lens, I have dedicated my life to exploring the depths of personal discovery and human connection.
My professional training includes degrees in Arts Psychotherapy and Autism Studies, a Diploma of counselling, life coaching, , and Clinical Supervision, all informed by my personal experience as a neurodivergent individual. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD at The University of Sydney's Faculty of Medicine and Health, focusing on workplace wellbeing within the disability and arts sectors.
If I have client capacity, your initial enquiry will lead to a short Zoom meeting to clarify that we are a good fit (replies are generally made within 1 week). Following this, the next step would be to organise an intake and first session.
Concession fees are available. NDIS clients welcome (The Australian National Disability Insurance Scheme).
